i saw the band ie  doors of the 21st century  with ian astubry  a year or so ago      i enjoyed  it  obvoiulsy being too young for the original band   .. it seemed to be a tribute  

but its no wonder john densmore doesnt want anything to do w ith this latest reincarnation or even the first but now  (riders on the strom), its all to do with money  . ie £60 to £ 90  pound a ticket     for the camden gigs       and then £500 !  pound a ticket for special privilages      jim would have vomited    really     manazerak  goes on about jims  free spirit      etc  and dionyoius etc .... but towards the end of his life jim  was tired of it all      . and as he siad hed rather come back  as a quiet philposhper in a  garden like epicurious   the greek

im not a purist     ive got too many other things going in my life . but i find this whole circus      very sad
